About the Brough Festival
Join us for an afternoon of live music and family entertainment at Brantingham Park, the home of Hull Ionians Rugby Union Club.
With live music from top UK tribute bands Queen Rhapsody and The Ed Sheeran Songbook as well as Kings of Lyon the UK Strokes and local favourites The Projects.
Your MC for the afternoon will be the multi award-winning comedian Jed Salisbury.
There’s plenty of entertainment for children with FREE face painting. There will also be a fun fair with children’s rides priced at just £1 as well as larger adult rides priced at £2.50.
There will be a selection of top quality street food vendors and of course a bar and beer tent.

Introducing your MC for the afternoon, Jed Salisbury is a multi award-winning comedian and MC who has spent the last eight years performing for clubs and promoters across the UK, building a reputation for sharp crowd work, relatable storytelling and chaotic charm.
A two-time winner of Best MC at the Yorkshire Comedy Awards, Jed combines warmth with near-the-knuckle honesty to create an unpredictable but hugely likeable act.

The Projects
Local band The Projects have been playing the pubs, bars and events venues of the area for 15 years, delivering an energy like no other.
Playing All Time Favourites by Fleetwood Mac, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Tina Turner, through to Indie powerhouses from The Killers, Stereophonics, Arctic Monkeys and Oasis, and many more, The Projects will get you toe-tapping, dancing and singing out loud from start to finish.

Hull Ukulele Group
The Hull Ukulele Group came about as an excuse to go to the pub, but the plan backfired when 15 people turned up at the first meeting. Over a few beers, some crisps, and a Johnny Cash song, the Hull Ukulele Group was born.
